Youth Entrepreneurship Project

This 8 days course will help you create your own business plan, develop cross-functional skills, and learn about U.S. business models.

Who is it for?

The course is aimed at helping 40 young Moroccans living in Casablanca and who have recently graduated. It's designed to help both those who have started working on their business ideas and those who have the ambition to become entrepreneurs.

Program Objectives

Business Planning

Participants will learn how to develop effective business plans that will work for their type of entrepreneurial endeavors. By the end of the 7 planned business plan workshops, participants will have their individualized business plans ready to meet be presented.

Soft and Cross-fuctional Skills

Participants will develop all the necessary skills required to succeed in the business world. At the end of the program, participants will have created their own small business network and will be able to effectively present their business ideas.

U.S. Business Models

Participants will learn more about successful business models in the United States. These models can be followed, with slight variations, to help participants have successful businesses in Morocco.

Timeline

  • March 13-14

    First weekend we get to meet each other face-to-face and learn more about the objectives of the program and how we will proceed. We will take this time to meet successful entrepreneurs both from Morocco and the United States. The first workshops will be an introduction to the full program.

  • March 20-21

    By second weekend, we will have an understanding of what is expected from us at the end of the program. During this weekend, we will have different workshops that will help us learn how to manage a business to help it grow.

  • April 3-4

    The third weekend will have more exciting workshops about marketing, financing and maintaining a growing business. Experts will help us navigate the latest helpful proven methods to successfully run a business.

  • April 10-11

    The final weekend we will have all the needed information, skills to know how to present our business ideas to get more funding. We will have learned everything about creating a business plan, building a networking and growing a successful business.

Selection Process

Participants will be selected on a set of criteria including, but not limited to, entrepreneurial spirit, business motivation, dedication and English language capability.
